Problem with parents and weed.?
Ok, so I have been smoking for 3 years and I am not asking for anyone to tell me how bad it is or to stop, I'm a weed smoker and always will be. However, I maintain good grades in school and work full time. This doesnt seem to matter to my parents because when i got a bob marley poster at the music store they decided to search my room and found my bowl.
Then when i was at work they took all my music and even my buddhist statues from my room because they are "drug related."
These people are nuts. My dad just took my phone because I argued that the buddha is my religion nothing to do with drugs.
Im in my room trying to calm down now before i hurt someone because i have never been so angry. I feel violated.
He also went into my closet and took a few of my bob marley shirts and a blanket i bought because it had the beatles on it... this is all hysteria how do i get them to leave me alone.

Do i tell my parents or stay to myself?
Today my dad found my weed and a bowl in my room. He was all mad and threw it out along with some of my bob marley posters because he said im becoming a hippie and he wont tolerate that. He is very ignorant in my opinion. However i live in his house and cant afford to be on my own yet.
However, i am not a "hippie" the music i just enjoy and the weed well its all thats kept me sane these past 2 years. After a rough breakup i found weed and it took the pain away, I was always self concious and when i smoke i am confident and now i love life. Should i tell my dad the impact weed has had on my life and how depressed i really am? i dont want him to send me to rehab but a counsler might be good.
